This photo was taken on a walk on my recent holiday with a local Arizonian and we just happened to take a little detour and see this amazing Hohokam rock art. In this picture you can see the spiral of life... reminding us of connectedness to each other and to nature, to everything. When we become disconnected from nature I think this leads to illness and displacement.
It's really important to regain a relationship with nature (green is the colour of the heart chakra - green nourishes love and strength), to get out of a concrete jungle and sit in peace, appreciating the beautiful nature around us. I was recently talking to some very good friends in Missouri, U.S.A and one said 'when we die.. there is something better'. And I said, with a sweeping gesture towards the beautiful trees, hummingbirds, deer... 'better than this?!' I really wouldn't want to be any where if there were none of our incredible plants on it.
Yours in health,
