Hmmm today I forgot my friend was having a pizza party. BUUT, managed to stay away from the pizza and have a salad instead! No one took me up on my offer of almonds to nibble on after, chocolate is a more fun option apparently! Weight loss is a lot to do with discipline and that is something that needs to be practised. It’s not just a matter of ‘oh you know, I was just born without the ability to discipline myself…..’ We all have to practice it. My patients often get stuck when there are parties/dinners with friends. You just have to get on with your eating plan, stick to it and remember the big picture, they will love and respect you enough to encourage you.
Breakfast: Poached eggs on cooked spinach.
Lunch: Left over beef salad and an orange
Dinner: Salmon salad with ricotta
Exercise: Walking stairs at work.
Fluids: 1 litre of water, 2 cups green tea, pot of nettle tea - see picture above. It's so beautiful and green and great for the liver. Full of iron and Vitamin C. You will notice I drink a lot of teas. Green tea is a favourite of mine in weight loss, as it's great for abdominal weight loss.
Supplements: multivitamin, probiotics, fish oil, iron tablet
Thoughts/feelings: I feel like my stomach is already flatter. It wasn't huge to start with but I can see some definition. Happy :D
