Love my mornings off. I don’t start work until the afternoon today. So, here we go:
I woke up absolutely starving. Ran to the kitchen.
Breakfast: two hard boiled eggs and cooked spinach
Lunch: Delicious chicken soup. You can see by the photo that I’ve added some oyster mushrooms with tamari. Mushrooms are fantastic for your immune system and help to build an immune response, but they also halt an overactive immune response too. I added mushrooms as a lot of people are getting colds at the moment.
Kelly’s chicken soup
- oyster mushrooms
- sliced onion
- finely cut chilli
- chicken (free range)
- canned/fresh homemade soup base
I cheated! I’m honest at least but if you are time poor, grab a canned soup and add fresh veges and ingredients at the end. Yes, I did just say that. But if you are a wonderful cook and you make amazing soups then make a big batch and freeze.
Dinner: vege omelette and palm sized portion of chicken breast
Ingredients for omelette:
- about 20g of fetta
- 4 eggs
- lots of chopped veges of your choice
- tablespoon of milk
Exercise: 45 mins weights at gym
supps: multivitamin, probiotic, fish oil, iron tablet
Thoughts feelings: Was really hungry this morning but am feeling ok now. It's normal to feel a bit hungry, you have to just go for a walk or something or have a cup of tea.
