all contain anthocyanins.
• Studies show that anthocyanin-containing foods can reduce overall fat mass and abdominal fat.
• They also decrease inflammation, so they’re great for reducing cardiovascular disease too.
• Have a cup a day, frozen berries are ok and contain anthocyanins, but fresh and locally grown is best.
• Try making a smoothie or combining them with low sugar yoghurt.
Breakfast: protein bar
Snack: 12 almonds
Lunch: eggplant steak and ricotta sandwich (see photo) with side salad and tomato puree
Dinner: teriyaki tofu salad.
Supplements: multivitamin, iron tablet, probiotic, fish oil
Fluids: 1 litre of filtered water, peppermint tea, spearmint tea.
Exercise: ½ hour interval training at the gym.
Thoughts and feelings: Delicious lunch today. I brushed this eggplant with miso paste, pepper and tamari. Not really feeling too hungry any more as I think my stomach is a little smaller. I feel full.
